Madison WI - Absolutely Art and Café Zoma are proud to feature the artwork of Megan Monday and Mariko Kostreva for the month of February. Please join us for live music by the FORWARD! Marching Band (http://forwardband.org/), catering by Bunky’s Café and spectacular artwork the night of the reception.
Megan Monday is a Madison-based photographer and printmaker. Her work explores the intersections between animal and human life, how travel and a sense of place inform identity and non-linear expressions of memory and storytelling. Mariko Kostreva is an artist interested in exploring ideas of relationships, science fiction and travel. She works in Oils using the paint to show subtle formalities of the painting experience and the exploration of human relationships projected empathically onto a broad range of characters. Adult Swim At Madison Children's Museum ( 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm )
Madison Children's Museum Adult Swim honors the public pool tradition of clearing the kids out so adults can have the space to themselves.
Adult Swim is a great event to attend with a group of friends, family, or coworkers! Wine, beer, and Roman Candle pizza will be available for purchase. Climb the Hodgepodge Mahal, drive the Punch Buggy, and take in the work of more than 120 local artists who contributed pieces to the new museum.
Adults 21 and up are welcome. A valid ID will be required to enter the event. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at MadisonChildrensMuseum.org until 4 p.m. the day of the event, or at the door for the same price if tickets remain.

Liv Aanrud Artist Reception ( 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm )
The Hatch Art House February featured artist is Liv Aanrud. Her work will be showcased all month long with an opening reception Friday, February 10th from 6-9pm. Refreshments will be served.
Liv Aanrud creates sculptures, wall hangings and functional work using scrap metal, a piece of something that changes form once again. Liv explains; "I like that metal work can look old and new, and changes with the shifting daylight. I use imagery that draws from the natural world in the hopes that my art will be half as interesting as looking out of the window."

Community Indoor Yard Sale Fundraiser ( 7:00 am - 1:00 pm )
The South Central WI Chapter of the Holistic Moms Network will be hosting a collaborative indoor community yard sale to raise funds for their local non-profit chapter.Items include kids clothing, adults clothing, household, toys, maternity, exercise equipment, and much more.
