Land's End, a Dodgeville based business, did great business this past weekend and Cyber Monday. They hire over 2,500 local workers to help with the holiday season. Oasis Day Spa saw a 200% increase in sales for gift cards during Small Business Saturday. American Express was one of the big promoters of Small Business Saturday, offering a $25 dollar credit for cardholders who shop local businesses. Local businesses say their efforts definitely worked and hope it is a long-lasting effect!
