HistoryIn 1985 David Smith opened Four Star Fiction & Video in a small storefront at 315 N. Henry. His purpose: to offer a vast selection of queer, little-known, locally-produced and independent titles to the Madison community. Over the years the video selection grew and eventually overtook the neighboring storefront. In 2003, longtime manager Lisa Brennan bought Four Star from the founder, and continued to expand our rental inventory and services available to customers. Currently Four Star Video Heaven boasts almost 20,000 titles and the largest in-store selection of foreign, independent, and animation titles in the Midwest. |
