ProductsHatch Art House showcases a variety of Wisconsin artisans including... a large variety of jewelry, pottery, glass art, textiles, garden art, cards, prints, photography, paintings, sculpture, lamps...the list goes on and on! When you buy something from Hatch, you know it's being produced locally. We have an emphasis on repurposing, upcycling, recycling...if we can keep things out of the landfill and give it a new life in art, we've done a great thing. We strive to offer something for everyone at very affordable prices in a casual and creatively-charged environment. |

PhilosophyHatch Art House is all about Wisconsin, Madison, Willy Street, the neighborhood and of course, the artists. Yes, there are great artists outside of our locality... but we have a wonderful variety of artisans here too! So why venture further than we have to. Madisonians appreciate the creative arts and are much contented, by the somewhat rare opportunity, to shop for unique items void of bar codes. |

HistoryHatch developed in the mind of Wisconsin native, Tammy Schreiter when she was a young artist. In the summer of 2010, after too many years of pushing her dream aside, she decided it was time to "go for it".The Williamson Street location presented itself in a new building across from the Willy Street Co-op and she new it would be a perfect fit. Being enveloped in the Madison summer art scene, the search for artists began. Hatch Art House opened its doors December 3rd, 2010 and is now home to approximately 30 local artisans. |
