HistoryPaul's Bookstore began on the 700 block of State Street in 1954, later moving to the 600 block of University Avenue. In 1963 Paul's moved again to their current location at 670 State Street. Paul Askins, Caryl Askins husband, opened the store in 1954, and Caryl took over in 1975 when her husband died. She has continued the business as much in the character as it always was. |
