PhilosophyBuying locally is important to me because of the relationships that are developed between local business owners and employees. We have more in common than just business - shared landscapes, shared interest in the well-being of our community, and the diverse perspectives that we bring to community development. My photography features iconic Dane County natural areas and gardens. I think an important part of community development is to know the land as Aldo Leopold described it - the plants, animals, soil, water, and people and their relationships. It's these resources and relationships that make a rich Dane County economy and quality of life possible. Local vendors carry my greeting cards. In the future, I hope to find a local printer to supply my images. |

HistoryI started my business in 2009 as a way to increase the creative energy in my life and to inspire creative energy in others. I would like to do more work with Dane County farms to help them share their stories through photography. I want to enjoy the relationships I'm developing and the creative process of photography.
