We practice natural Full Vigor Forestry. We use some of the dead and dying trees each year from our forest- mostly oak, elm, birch, cherry, walnut. Our harvesting is done with Arthroscopic precision, using the smallest possible equipment. We have dried our boards for over 22 years in our unique solar heated lumber dry kilns. Our retail store in downtown Spring Green also has a wide variety of locally made wood products, including cheese boards, natural leaf jewelry, picture frames, wood pens etc. Spring Green Laser Art is also in our store, creating personalized plaques, signs and gifts. |

PhilosophyBuying in a locally owned store is great, but buying direct from the grower/manufacturer is the BEST! |

HistoryWe have been making, selling, and installing our custom blended hardwood flooring for 20 years. We opened our Spring Green Timber Growers retail store three years ago to have more contact with our wood customers and to encourage other forest owners and local artists to get to meet each other. Selling wood products direct from the timber grower to the customer is the only way that a landowner earns a significant and fair income from their forest crops - so they can truly practice "sustainable forestry". |
