We also provide talent management services to corporate client in developing hiring strategies; competency models; employee assessments and coaching for job fit, team building, training & leadership development; career transition services including spousal/partner relocation, reassignment, and outplacement; and retirement preparation. As an owner/member of Career Partners International we are able to provide a personal, local approach while offering state-of-the-art technology. We are a certified 100% woman-owned business.

Philosophy

Buying local is especially important for individuals who want to be successful with their job search, as only consultants who are deeply committed to their targeted markets can offer effective help in communicating with relevance to their target employers. All of Career Momentum and Career Partners International consultants are actively engaged in key professional and business associations which provide us with constant input regarding the local job markets we serve. We also live out our commitment to our local market by engaging as many local vendors as we can to provide the support services we need to run our business.

History

In 1994, Clara Hurd Nydam was encouraged by two employers who she worked for at the time to open a career consulting business because individuals had no credible source for private independent career development services. Within a very short time, her reputation for insightful coaching and strong resume development services spread, and companies began to call on Career Momentum for help in relocating key employee spouses as well as assisting when they needed to transfer an employee out of the company or help a valued employee overcome a potential derailing situation. Career Momentum, Inc. acquired relationships with three assessment providers as these tools were proven valuable, and in 2004, Career Momentum was invited to become a member of Career Partner International.
