Categories of furniture range from bedroom, bath, dining, kitchen cabinetry, bookcases, entertainment, occasional tables and closet storage.Finish It! furniture sources are mostly US manufacturers that are also small business owners. Because of this, Finish It! is able to work directly with manufacturers on custom projects and provide input for functional furniture design. We are a certified founding member of Real Wood Furniture, Finished Your Way, and a member of the Unfinished Furniture Association. This certification ensures that all our furniture is made of all natural wood or plywood, containing absolutely NO particleboard. Finish It! also sells environmentally friendly water based finishing supplies and provides design assistance to help clients create their personalized furniture. At Finish It!, the client has the option of finishing themselves, finishing with our help or we'll finish it for you! |

HistoryFinish It! Home Furnishings, was founded in Madison in early 2002 by Barbara Murphy. After many years of working for regional and national retailers in the field of marketing, Barbara wished to put her creative experience to work to develop a home furnishings store that would provide endless possibilities for herself, her employees and her clients. The blank canvas of the furniture she sells runs parallel to her philosophy in life. "Start with a solid foundation and embellish it in any way you like to create a beautiful end result. If tastes or needs change over time, you can always update and re-purpose a solid piece of furniture". |
