Agrace HospiceCare Thrift Stores offer high quality merchandise at competitive thrift store pricing. New merchandise arrives daily, with a great selection of clothing, jewelry, housewares, collectibles and books. All merchandise for sale is donated by the local community. Our business is unique in that we have minimal paid staff and utilize approximately 100 volunteers to operate each store. Volunteers assist donors, price and sort merchandise, create displays, operate the cash register and provide customer service on the sales floor. |

HistoryThe thrift store at 122 Junction Road on Madison’ s west side opened in August of 2006. The success of this location and inquiries from our Madison east customers prompted us to open a second store in June 2010 at 1733 Thierer Road. The Agrace HospiceCare Thrift Store began as a place for patients and families to give back to Agrace HospiceCare, Inc. Families often wanted to gift us furniture, collectibles and special items, and the thrift store gave us a means to accept these donations and generate sales. Revenue from the sale of merchandise in the Thrift Stores helps patients and families served by Agrace HospiceCare Inc. |
