My awareness level is peaked because of the increase level of availability due to the location of my everyday environment. I treat buying local as being on a "diet", and it is the easiest diet I have ever been on. When we buy local we invest in ourselves. When we buy local we "pay it forward". When we buy local, it may not show, but it does "come around". Each time I buy local I know my purchase is a fiber in the fabric. I think of each contribution everyone makes as a fiber in the fabric of goodness! |

HistoryJuly 2005, La Bella Vita opened to fill a niche for the unusual. While it doesn't take much effort to go to market and fill a store with product, it does take a keen eye to find great design, things that are fun and very different and find possessions that would be rewarding to own. La Bella Vita allowed my pursuit of buying, my strong sense of visual merchandising, and brought an entire shopping segment to Dane Co. that was missing. |
