We have one of the largest offerings of needlework supplies in the Midwest, a wonderful array of art supplies and a framing department that includes ready-made frames and custom framing. We are especially known for our expertise in framing (lace mounting) needlework. All of our staff members are stitchers and/or artists. They are knowledgeable, friendly and happy to guide you or help with any questions. |

PhilosophyBuying local helps keep jobs in the community. At Lynn's, we currently employ nine people from the Madison area because we believe that it is important to support local job opportunities. Many of our suppliers are located in Wisconsin and the Midwest providing more jobs for others in the area. Lynn's is generous in its support of local non-profits, and we appreciate the quality of life that these organizations add to Dane County residents. |

HistoryIn 1980 Lynn Halme opened Lynn's (then called Lynn's Craftshop) on Odana Road, selling general craft supplies. Over time, because of the interests of Lynn, her employees and customers, the store inventory became focused on needlework supplies, art supplies and picture framing. Although the store has moved five times, it has remained within the same block on Odana, with the same local landlord. Concentrating on the three areas of specialization gives Lynn's a unique mix of merchandise that draws creative people from Madison and the Midwest. Lynn's needlework department has become a destination for stitchers because of its huge selection of fabrics, fibers and charts. |
