HistoryMadison Sole opened in 2002, located midway between the Wisconsin Capitol and the scenic, lakefront University of Wisconsin campus. Colorful and friendly State Street, which manages to be simultaneously bustling and laid-back, is packed with great shopping and entertainment venues, restaurants, bars, museums and art galleries. Our 150-year-old building held some great secrets when we renovated it, such as vintage floor tiles under faded carpeting, and an authentic tin ceiling hidden above dusty suspended ceiling panels. |
