ProductsWe are a local Ma & Paw business located in Cross Plains. It is just my husband & I. We build Staple Free cat furniture. All our furniture is solid wood, we do not use card board tubing. We sell to the local pet stores in the Madison area. We are the only cat furniture manufacturers at this time that do not use staples in any of our products. It is safer for the cats so they do not swallow any loose staples that might come out of the furniture or get their claws stuck in the staples. We also do custom orders and designs that are specific to your cats needs. We also go to several cat shows around the area. We do have a good reputation and people like that we are local. We offer delivery to those that can not pick up their furniture. Mostly we love cats! |

PhilosophyWe rely on people whom support buying local. It is hard to compete with the big corporate pet stores that do not support the local manufacturers of cat furniture. It is important for every local business to stick together and support each other in this big corporate world we live in. We try to buy all of our materials locally and it is a big selling point to many that purchase our furniture. We try to promote other business's by suggesting to our customers local pet stores that they can go to find toys, and other cat items that they might need for their pets. We also have a web site that we have a tab that is called "Our Friends" that lists local businesses in the area for our customers to try. We buy all our cat supplies and toys from the local pet stores around Madison. |

HistoryWe are cat lovers and I purchased a cat tree locally in 2005. I came home from work to find my cat howling and trying to pull his claw out from underneath a staple he got his claw caught in. I immediately threw the cat tree out. My husband and I decided to build our own cat tree without staples. We really liked it and so did they. I was volunteering at Angel's Wish back in 2005, a local non-profit organization that homes stray animals. We donated a couple of pieces of furniture that we had made to them. They loved it and asked us to make furniture for them to sell at their adoption center. They sold out so we made more. Our business grew from there. We approached other local pet stores that liked our furniture and they are still buying furniture from us today. |
