PhilosophySince we are completely locally based, only serving Dane County at this point, it seems like a natural fit to focus on the area. We made a point of specifically targeting just the Dane County area and trying to be as comprehensive as possible in our efforts to partner with as many bars/restaurants that we could. Our goal is to someday spread out further into Wisconsin, but we will always have our main focus right around Madison. |

HistoryDeveloped by a local Verona couple (Greg and Kim Melzer) struck by the tough economy and their own frugal ways, this book/app helps both consumers and businesses alike. My wife and I started the company in the summer of 2009 when the economy took a toll on our sales income. We have a few friends who work/own bars and were telling us how the smoking ban and rough economy was making it hard for the bars to attract and keep customers. With my background in sales and my wife’s graphic design background, it seemed like a natural fit to venture into helping connect cash strapped consumers with establishments in need of business. We care about our partners (bars/restaurants) first and foremost. If we make them happy by adding new customers, success is sure to follow. |
