As a graduate of The Ayurvedic Institute and Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, I offer ayurvedic consultations to determine the most appropriate diet and lifestyle recommendations to meet my clients' health goals. I specialize in Ayurvedic Bodywork, including Shirodhara, Abhyanga, Pinda, Lepa, Udvartana, and Gharshana. Ayurvedic Bodywork utilizes therapeutic oils and ayurvedic herbs that most benefit the client's unique bodily constitution and health concerns. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, I offer Pregnancy Massage, Swedish & Deep Tissue Massage, Healthy Breast Massage, Oncology Massage, Mastectomy Massage, Raindrop Therapy, Hot Stone Massage, and Reiki. |

PhilosophyBuying locally has always been important to me, as I was raised by parents that own their own Mom-and-Pop office supply store in Chicago. I've witnessed their business struggle to compete against large corporate office supply chains, and it has led me to always choose local businesses and restaurants over large corporate chains. I show my commitment to local vendors and products by my renting my office space from a local business (Puja Wellness Ayurvedic Health Center & Spa), and by referring clients to other local businesses, such as local yoga studios, farmers markets, and co-ops. When possible, I buy my oils and herbs from small businesses, although some are not available locally. I get all of my marketing materials for my business at a local printer (Thysse). |

HistoryMadison Ayurveda and Massage, LLC started in September 2011 by Sabrina Henderson, Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner and Licensed Massage Therapist. After years of working with Madison's finest natural health practitioners and upon graduating from the Ayurvedic Institute, I decided to start my own ayurvedic and massage practice in Madison. I work out of Puja Wellness Ayurvedic Health Center and Spa, alongside wonderful ayurvedic practitioners, yoga teachers, bodyworkers, and energy healers. |
