ProductsFor 25+ years, Sturiale & Company has helped companies gain insights for growth and change through well conceived market research. Our expertise is in getting people to talk about their lives, jobs, markets, customers, ideas and needs. But we push beyond that and get at their hard-earned wisdom, frustrations, joys, growth and setbacks. We interpret these patterns into implications for business growth opportunities. While we focus on qualitative research (in-depth interviews, focus groups), we employ a variety of research tools (including electronic/mail/phone surveys) to help companies gain a good perspective of their environment. Companies hire Sturiale & Company when they want a trusted partner to gain in-depth feedback from people who mean the most to them. |

PhilosophyMy opinion for buying local for fresh food was underscored this year on a cross country cycling trip and seeing firsthand the large production cattle factories in Arizona and New Mexico. We saw fields and fields of animals standing on tall mounds of their own manure in closely held enclosures. It’s an easy decision to buy local food products. But beyond health reasons, I enjoy patronizing local food (and retail establishments) because of the creative approaches to food and furnishings. I love supporting local artists and musicians (the Cajun Strangers for one!!!). Buying local supports a more diverse way of life for everyone. It encourages people to take risks with new businesses, be creative and do what their heart beckons. |

HistoryI started my company 25 years ago when I wanted to focus on finishing my MBA. I also had health issues at the time (a brain tumor, causing facial paralysis). Having my own business allowed me to deal with personal issues. Once healed, I had that proverbial V-8 moment of “why didn’t I do this sooner?” My business took off after sending 50 introductory letters to people I knew. Over the years, my business has perpetuated itself through long-term business relationships with satisfied clients and referrals. I have a knack for helping companies gain clarity from a jumbled market place. I strongly adhere to the adage that “good work begets more good work.” |
