PhilosophyWisconsin Public Radio is committed to supporting local and Wisconsin-based businesses in our purchasing, promotion and community partnerships. As a unit of the University of Wisconsin – Extension, much of our procurement is routed through the state. However, we also work through our statewide network of stations and staff (Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay, Wausau, Superior, Eau Claire and LaCrosse) to purchase and partner with local non-profits and businesses. Our program sponsorships allow local groups an affordable and effective way to reach audiences that care about local. As the second-largest public radio network in the nation, we are proud to connect Wisconsin's communities with local, statewide, national and international news, information, education and entertainment. |
