PhilosophyGoin’ Lupi, LLC is committed to buying local goods and utilizing local talent and services in keeping with the overall philosophy of sustainability. Goin’ Lupi’s accountant, internet service provider, website programmers, office and gardens are located locally in Madison, Wisconsin; perhaps more importantly, the Hilldale Farmers’ Market wherein Goin’ Lupi sells its naturally-grown, gourmet produce is located in Madison. There are occasions, such as in the instance of the amazing artist, Rob Snow, currently living in Greece, when some talent comes from abroad, but that is the exception to the rule. Were it not for Rob Snow’s continued support and belief in Tina and her mission, Goin’ Lupi would still be just a dream. |

HistoryGoin’ Lupi, LLC was opened in 2008 by owner and local character, Tina Lee Lupiezowiec, because she had a cunning plan to sell the mountains of excess tomatoes and peppers she grew in her gardens to people living within her community. Thus began her journey toward her urban farm, www.goinlupi.com, the Lupi Blog, the Team Lupi Forum; Goin’ Lupi at Local dirt, Goin’ Lupi on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Linkedin; the research (Oh! The research), and ultimately the dream of an online Goin’ Lupi Store and Lupi Art Gallery.For Tina it’s all about continuing education, reasonable expectations, forgiveness and forward movement. She believes that this life is a wildly exciting journey, made by everyday humans, toward a better life – not perfection overnight or superhuman feats and total selflessness, but baby-steps, good healthy food, patience and, above all, humor. |
