ProductsThe Holistic Moms Network is a non-profit support and discussion network with a local chapter whose members share an interest in natural/holistic health and parenting. We offer monthly meetings, guest speakers, events and outings that support sustainabilty, green living, alternative parenting, holistic education, natural health care, local businesses, organic and local foods, and more. We also have a strong online community connecting parents around the country who share similar interests. We have information for our members on businesses who share the same values as our network. |

HistoryThe National Holistic Moms Network began in 2001 by a group of moms who were looking for others who shared their beliefs and passions about holistic living. Our local chapter was created in November 2008, and has been serving South Central WI and Dane County for nearly 2 1/2 years. The group was created by Brenda Trudell, Katie Helwig and Lisa Waccholz as a way to connect like-minded moms who shared interests in holistic parenting and green living. Mount Horeb is a quick 15 minute drive from the west side of Madison, with easy access to many rural communities who do not have similar groups of their own. We were hoping to bridge the gap between rural and urban moms who all shared the same interests, and who could teach, as well as learn from each other. |
