HistoryA decade ago, John Thuesen and Laurel Redmon founded Red Sage Health on Williamson St. to provide affordable and effective holistic care to the Madison community. John has practiced Shiatsu since 1999, and Laurel has 20 years of experience working with Western herbs and aromatherapy. She and Lynn Van Airsdale are licensed acupuncturists and nationally board-certified in Chinese Herbology.In 2002, John and Laurel purchased a 40-acre farm in the Baraboo hills, which they refurbished. They began growing many varieties of fruits, vegetables and plants. All plants are grown without chemicals and many go into their hand-made medicinal preparations that they sell at the herb shop. |
