History

2006 by the Herbst family with a vision and mission to birth a transplant house for patients coming to UW Hospital for marrow and organ transplant. The Herbst family had lived in Gift of Life Transplant House when Wes Herbst had his bone marrow transplant. This vision became bigger than the family's ability to grow it, so this vision was handed over to a non profit to take it over and grow it to become a home away home with 16 bedrooms with private bathrooms and shared common areas.
