PhilosophyAs part of the Slow Food movement and Madison Originals, we buy local vendors and growers through the Northside Farmer's Market and people we know. It's part of our history and philosophy, beginning way back in Chicago when the original Bunky took a little heat from unnamed musclemen who "suggested" that buying local was a good idea. Truth is, we love hearing from our local farmers so we can tailor the menu specials around what's fresh and most tasty.For us, buying local also means giving locally, too. Each time you pay with cash or a check, we use the money we don't spend on credit card fees to support the community that supports us. |
