PhilosophyAt our store, we devote a significant amount of cooler space to local craft beers, including Ale Asylum, Capital Brewey, New Glarus, and Lake Louie. We also carry Wollersheim wines and Yahara Bay spirits. Our customers are mostly local, and tend to want to support local businesses whenever possible. At the Cork 'N Bottle, we share that belief and enjoy our deep roots in supporting our local economy. |

HistoryThe Cork 'N Bottle opened its doors in 1960 and we will be celebrating our 50th anniversary in the summer of 2010. We are a locally owned and operated business with deep roots in the Tenney- Lapham Neighborhood. Cork ‘N Bottle has been run by only two families for the last five decades. In fact, the current owner Jim Wright is the third member of his family to run a shop on the 800 block of East Johnson Street. His great-uncles, George and Tony, ran grocery and hardware stores, respectively, in the first half of the 20th century. |
