PhilosophyWe believe that buying local is good business, good for the environment, and good marketing. We buy from the Vermont Valley CSA. We serve local favorites and fellow Dane Buy Local members' products from Johnson Brothers Coffee and Cha Cha Tea. We feature Porchlight Products for retail sale and directly on our menu. We serve primarily Wisconsin beers. We love music and we have members of local bands on our staff. |

HistoryWe opened our doors in May of 2009 with joint ownership between Daryl Sisson and Kathy Brooks. We wanted to serve the near eastside of Madison, become a local hangout and feature Wisconsin products. And we wanted to show Madison how good and creative cupcakes could be. With 52,000 sold to date, we're well on our way toward that goal. |
