ProductsFresh Madison Market is a full-service grocery store in the heart of downtown Madison. In addition to the standard grocery store fare, we are committed to bringing our customer fresh, locally-produced items. Since we opened in January of 2010, we are have added hundreds of locally produced products and continue to grow this segment of our inventory every day. When available, you will find our produce section stocked with local, organic fruits and vegetables straight off the farm in southwest Wisconsin, grass-fed, locally grown beef in our meat and deli case, organic dairy items from farms in Wisconsin, bakery items made in Madison and more! We also offer our customer a huge bulk food section, a large selection of organic and gluten-free items, and a hot and cold breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet as well as a fresh sushi department. We also have an in-house chef who is committed to producing recipes using local ingredients in our deli and catering food trays. |

PhilosophyOne of our goals when we opened our store was to provide our customer with as many local food options as possible. We strive to infuse not only inventory with local products, but look to local vendors and businesses to help with all of our daily operations. We believe in giving back as well, and support not only our neighboring businesses, but many local charitable organizations. |

HistoryFresh Madison Market opened its doors in January of 2010. Store owner Jeff Maurer has been in the grocery business for over thirty years in Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin. After years of nurturing his personal dream of opening his own retail store from the ground up, Maurer saw his dream come to fruition with Fresh Madison Market. The store operates on the principle of listening to and involving the customer and offering them a healthy, fun and involved shopping experience. |
