The cuisine features presentations of the freshest fish, organic and local produce, and meats that are prepared Creole and Cajun style, characteristic of the fine dining in New Orleans. Liliana’s has an extensive wine list and also serves local micro brewed beers.Interested in learning to cook? Cooking classes are offered providing a unique, hands-on experience. We offer introductory and intermediate class levels with a couples discounted rate. Live music is showcased most evenings, conveying the energy of Bourbon Street. PhilosophyOur primary goal is to provide fresh, great tasting food. We are constantly searching for local, organic sources for as many of our ingredients as possible. This allows produce to ripen before transportation and has less environmental impact than trucking it cross-country. In keeping with our belief that local is better, we used Madison artists to realize the vision we wanted to create, such as the local architect Matt Aro of Aro Eberle Architects. All cast iron work in the restaurant was custom created and built by a Madison West High graduate, Alex Herndon. We also feature live music by local jazz artists and enthusiasts in our bar. |

HistoryA graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, executive chef and owner David Heide worked at restaurants throughout California, Minnesota, and multiple Madison area restaurants before opening his own restaurant, Liliana’s, in the fall of 2007. Having grown up in Fitchburg just six blocks away from Liliana's location, Dave is very glad to be back home working with his wife Tiffany that he met while working in California. Their daughter Liliana was the namesake for Liliana’s Restaurant and at restaurant opening, she had just turned one year old. |
