ProductsMarket Street Bakery and Diner is famous for its pies, with 17 to 20 varieties available by the slice each day. Each of these pies is made completely from scratch with no preservatives and all-natural ingredients. Although we are known for our pies, we are much more than this. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Our large menu has a wide selection of sandwiches, entrees, pastas and more. We have daily specials as well as vegetarian options. We cater events and have wedding cakes and other specialty pastry items. Our baked goods can also be found in local coffee shops around Madison. |

PhilosophyPart of being a local business is being as involved in the community as we can be. Market Street Bakery and Diner often donates to local charities and events in our community, such as the AIDS network. Another benefit of being a local and independent business is that we are able to tell our customers exactly what is in their food and where it came from. We think it is important for our customers to know what it means to have "all natural" baked goods. We currently get many of our ingredients from local vendors, and we are always working to locate and partner with other local producers. |

HistoryMarket Street Bakery and Diner opened in November of 2005. It remains at its original location today, 110 Market Street, situated in downtown Sun Prairies amongst a mixture of new retail shops, many also locally owned. The Bakery and Diner were modeled after the success of the locally owned Hubbard Avenue Diner. Many of the staff who worked for Market Street when it opened remain here today, as the friendly and positive work environment encourage employees to stay. It is this same warm environment that will greet you when you come in and visit us. |
