PhilosophyWe choose to buy locally sourced goods because we are very involved in the community. By supporting local farmers and artists we understand that we are supporting our community. We try to sell as many local products as we can, from Ancora coffee to locally made baked goods. We also buy yarn from local mills and sell bags and jewelry made by local designers. |

HistoryWe opened in October 2000, and in 2007 we switched owners. Ever since the beginning, The Sow’s Ear has promoted buying local, and that sentiment has held strong even when the shop changed hands. |
