PhilosophyWhen I buy tool/supplies and need any graphic design/printing work done I use local businesses. I volunteer for the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, helping with the de-construction of buildings being torn down, so less goes into the landfills and items are re-used. I have always tried to shop locally and was previously a director of a non-profit Main Street Program (downtown revitalization) in Mineral Point, WI. I have only been to a Wal-Mart twice in my life (both times in Arkansas) and both times due to no other options being available (i.e. car broke down and needed a tool). |

HistoryI started my business in 2002, after working with small business owners as a director of a Main Street Program (non-profit downtown revitalization program) and running an architectural salvage business with my brother. My father was a carpenter and I have worked on the restoration of old homes, often using reclaimed materials or those replicated by local craftspeople. |
