PhilosophyFull Spectrum Solar installs solar electric and solar hot water systems that provide homes and businesses with clean, renewable energy produced right at their location. Our grid-tied solar electric systems feed excess power directly back to the grid to provide other residents that same locally produced resource. Beyond that, Full Spectrum Solar purchases local for everything they can, from office supplies to food. It is important to us to sustain local economies and minimize the negative environmental impacts associated with transporting goods and services great distances. Owners Burke and Mark O’Neal work and live in the Madison community and understand that the cost of goods and services is more than just the price when it comes to a sustainable life. |

HistoryFull Spectrum Solar opened in August 2002 as “Light Energy Systems,” when Lead Engineer Burke O’Neal returned from his position with the California-based Light Energy Systems to set up a business with his brother, Master Plumber Mark O’Neal. From a very early age Burke has been interested in energy issues, putting his commitment to action early on by building a solar panel in high school and a small off-grid photo-voltaic system in college while pursuing his engineering degree. As owner's of Full Spectrum Solar, Mark and Burke are able to have the inspiring careers they had hoped for, but also contribute to their local community installing solar energy systems - using their expertise to select and use the best equipment and workmanship possible. |
