ProductsOur founder, Dr. Clarence Gonstead, devised a chiropractic technique that is now taught in nearly all chiropractic schools across the world. To paraphrase a bumper sticker, by acting locally we have influenced the world to think like us.The concept of prevention is inherent on every aspect of our clinic. Early detection and adjustment of spinal problems (subluxations) prevents them from becoming more serious. Your chiropractor and you will determine an adjustment schedule depending on your individual need. Our group practice also offers a natural approach to nutrition, exercise, sleep and other wellness strategies. We focus on helping the body heal itself by using specific, gentle, hands-on treatment. |

PhilosophyWith four doctors who trained at the Palmer College of Chiropractic, we are proud of our history, and the community where we work and live. Our employees are very involved in the community through their churches, Chamber board, Rotary, Optimist club, Mom's group, Business Network, coaching a girls volleyball and basketball team and other activities. We value the chance to attract patients from the entire region to Mt. Horeb. |

HistoryDr. Gonstead opened shop in 1923 in tiny Primrose, Wisconsin. He moved to Main Street, Mt. Horeb in 1939 and began teaching seminars in 1946. By the time he opened the Scandinavian-designed, 19,000 square foot clinic, hotel and restaurant at the edge of town in 1964, his reputation extended far beyond the confines of south central Wisconsin. Many travelers knew Mt. Horeb as much because of his clinic as they did its trolls and Norwegian folklore. |
