Please consider yourself invited!The Wheels of Time and Place packet is an attractive toolkit and set of practices for connecting to the natural world every day. It includes a set of blank circular journals that you use to pay routine attention to cycles of day and night, phases of the moon, passing of the seasons, and your own growth and learning. The Wheels may serve as nature journals, storytelling journals, spiritual journals, or a combination. In addition to selling the Wheels of Time and Place packets, I offer workshops and consultations. |

PhilosophyWhen I decided to self-publish the Wheels of Time and Place packet and the companion website, my goal was to rely on local services and supplies as much as possible. I aimed for 100%, and I came close! I used a local graphic designer, web developer, printer, and print finisher. A crew of generous volunteers collated the contents into the packet cases by hand.The chipboard case and all print material are from recycled material, with soy-based inks. The twine for the case closure came from a leftover spool of fishing twine used to repair trawl nets. Shipping and handling is through a small local business, and my marketing advice comes from local folks as well. |

HistoryFrom its inception in 1996, Partners in Place, LLC offered a range of consulting services that focus on resource stewardship and growing a sense of place. For over twelve years, I specialized in interactive meetings and events that build environmental partnerships and community collaborations.Recently, I followed my creative impulses through a transition – to the Wheels of Time and Place as the centerpiece of my practice. I continue to selectively offer my experience as an environmental consultant, mostly by coaching and mentoring some of the fine young people coming up behind me, as well as to assist with issues dear to my heart. |
