Horeb office opened in April of 2008, it's hard to imagine anyone being more local than a third-generation and family-owned real estate firm which has been around since 1939! These days, that includes a teacher from Mt. Horeb, a mother and daughter, a resident of Verona and someone who worked at Land's End for more than a decade and a half.It's important to do business with people you know; especially your neighbors. HistoryOriginally known as Smith & Johanning, Potterton Rule changed hands in 1969 when Mineral Point native Everett T. Potterton became the owner and operator. He was joined by his children, Carole Rule and Paul Potterton, to whom he would sell the company in 1980. Paul's wife, Barbara, would also join the business. Today, Potterton Rule, Inc. is owned and operated by Keric Potterton, Paul and Barbara's son, who is proud to continue the family tradition of excellence in real estate and insurance. |
