HistoryRandy Schorr attended MATC in the wood techniques/cabinet making program along with working as a carpenter for 8 years. His dream was to have his own remodeling company. Kristie was a dental hygienist at that time. As the talk of starting our business became more and more frequent, we decided it would be to our advantage for Kristie to return to school in accounting and business management. In 1979, our dreams became a reality when Schorr Construction, Inc. was established. Our goal was to be a design/build firm that provided the highest quality craftsmanship and personalized professional service to all of our customers, no matter what the size or scope of the project might be. We had a strong desire to promote to the public the knowledge and professionalism that existed in our local remodeling industry and found NARI of Madison to be the perfect organization to become involved with. Randy became one of the first Certified Remodelers in Dane County and through the years, many others on our team have become certified. By remaining a small close knit remodeling company, we have been able to stay committed to the development of our long term employees, while staying true to our original core values. |
