HistoryThe year was 1907 when James G. Bailey came to Cross Plains from Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. His purpose was to establish a bank in the young and growing community. On January 15, 1908, the first stockholder's meeting was held and nine directors were chosen. The State Bank of Cross Plains recorded it's first day of business on January 20, 1908. The Directors, Officers and staff have had the great privilege to serve the financial needs of our customers, our communities and meet the expectations of our shareholders for over 100 years. |
