Products

The Malt House is Madison's craft beer oasis. We pour craft and artisan beers from Wisconsin and other small (!) artisan brewers worldwide. With 18 rotating draft lines, and 150 bottled beers, The Malt House has the artisan beer to satisfy any thirst. Additionally, we have one of Madison's largest whiskey selections, with approx 40 bourbons and another 40 single malts, Irish whiskies, etc. If beer or whiskey are not your style, we also have a full bar with quality spirits, wines, ciders, meads. Celiacs will appreciate our selection of gluten-free beers, ciders and meads. VISA/MC/DISC/ATM Open Mon-Sat from 4pm.

Philosophy

We pour no beer made by giant beer conglomerates. You will find no SAB-Miller, AB/Inbev or MolsonCoors products on our menu. Craft brewers are our friends and heroes. They make flavorful interesting products, from local agricultural products, and spend their earnings in your neighborhood.

History

The Malt House was founded in 2008 by Madison resident Bill Rogers, because Madison needed an unpretentious corner tavern that served world class beer.
