Products and Services:
MMoCA's award-winning Museum Store features an extensive selection of contemporary American craft and fine jewelry, as well as art books, cards, and children's gifts. Store shoppers and museum members make it possible for MMoCA to maintain a robust annual schedule of 7-10 exhibitions and more then 60 educational programs.  The museum organizes original exhibitions, presents traveling exhibitions from other institutions and offers exhibitions drawn from its own permanent collection of more then 5,000 artworks.  Lectures, gallery talks, tours, workshops, films and other special programs accompany exhibitions and provide access to a wide array of perspectives.  Over 200,000 attendees viewed exhibitions last year, including 9,500 children.
The MMoCA Museum Store showcases and supports local designers and studio artists whose pieces make the store a fantastic source for Madison shoppers.  Through special trunk shows and book signings, the Museum Store highlights local artists and their hand-crafted works. The Museum Store is a destination for unique, memorable gifts.
All sales from the MMoCA Museum Store support the museum, helping to maintain this free, compelling cultural resource for Madison and the region. MMoCA members enjoy many privileges, including free admission to exhibition openings and MMoCA Nights events, 10-20% discount at the Museum Store, 10% discount at Fresco and other Food Fight restaurants, as well as access to films, education programs, and travel opportunities. Gifts to MMoCA are tax deductible.
The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (MMoCA) was founded in 1901 as the Madison Art Association.  The organization grew steadily over the years and, in 1980, moved into the Madison Civic Center to accommodate its growing collection and programs.  In 1998, the organization began a major period of expansion, becoming a founding member of Overture Center for the Arts.  In 2006, this period culminated in the newly-renamed MMoCA moving into its present 51,500 square foot facility in the Overture Center.  Since opening at Overture, MMoCA has welcomed over one million visitors.
