Waunakee Furniture ETC is a locally owned and operated retail furniture store specializing in living room furniture, children¿s bedroom furniture, and amish handcrafted wood furniture.

We at Waunakee Furniture ETC are truly proud supporters of buying local. Having started our own small business at a young age, we soon found out the importance of our local businesses and their importance to our business. Through support of our fellow local businesses . . . we too were able to grow in our community with support from them.
Also when supporting your local businesses you are able to find a level of quality in the products you are buying that you may not find at a large box store. Local businesses pride themselves in the products they carry -- you can believe in what your purchasing because the local proprietor believes in the products/services like they are his/her own.
Another fine benefit to buying local is quite often the fact that you are dealing with your neighbor or fellow community member. Instead of working with someone from across the country over the internet, or even with someone from another country, you are dealing with someone who resides in the same fine community you do. Their values and commitment is often similar to your own . . . making it a good fit to buy from their business not one you can't get any service from later on. Having your local business take care of a bad water pump on your dishwasher is much easier than having it sent to you by mail and having to do it yourself.
Ultimately, shopping local is both gratifying to you and the local proprietor.
Waunakee Furniture ETC was opened in September of 1996 by Sandy and Tim Taylor and Eric Myhre. Eric's father spent 30 years working on the wholesale end of the furniture industry and helped Sandy, Tim and Eric start the business with his expertise in the furniture industry.
With a background in service, the three owners anxiously went into the business with quality and service being the foundation.
Having been a furniture store before, Winn's Waunakee Furniture, it was only a matter of time before the business got rolling and became a great success.
Entering into its 17th year, the philosophy hasn't changed. The owners Sandy and Tim Taylor and Eric and Katie Myhre have a local business that is searched out by local patrons for quality and service with a personal touch that you can't find anywhere else but at a local business.
