Products and Services:
The Aldo Leopold Nature Center is a non-profit environmental education organization dedicated to providing year-round, interactive programming which, "teaches the student to see the land, to understand what he sees, and enjoy what he understands" in the spirit of famed conservationist Aldo Leopold.

Each year, ALNC provides more than 50,000 families and teachers with educational opportunities to learn about the natural world and develop a lifelong interest in outdoor activities. Our primary programs are school field trips, after-school programs for economically disadvantaged youth, family programming, scout programs, home school programs, adult lectures, teacher training workshops, and interactive and innovative exhibits.

By nurturing children's natural curiosity and fascination with nature we seek to create a healthier future for our children and our planet.
Buying locally is important to ALNC because it benefits the community and the environment.

ALNC promotes our local partners both traditionally, through newsletters, invitations, posters, banners and logo on our website, and electronically through our Partner Poster in the lobby, shout outs on our Facebook page and Partner Spotlights on our Twitter account, as well as in e-newsletters and e-blasts. We are committed to purchasing local supplies and using local services.
The Aldo Leopold Nature Center is a non-profit environmental education organization founded in 1994 by a group of concerned citizens.

Through our school field trips, after school programs for economically challenged students, summer camps, seasonal family programs, scout, home and pre-school programs, special events, teacher training workshops and interactive science-based exhibits, ALNC fosters admiration and respect for nature, encourages sustainability and stewardship of the land and provides opportunities for all to engage in healthy outdoor activities.
