Product/Service

Happy Bambino is a parenting center that brings together the resources, products, and support that parents and children need from pre-conception, through birth and early childhood.   We offer products that can contribute to the health and happiness of the family, such as breastfeeding support products and infant carriers. Other speciality goods shower gifts, cloth diapers, books, clothing, and toys.  Happy Bambino's Eco-Boutique resells gently used childrens' and maternity clothing, diapers, and more.  Our resource center offers educational classes, parent-child activities, and access to resources such as lactation support services and parent groups. Many of these services are offered at no cost to families. 

Buying Local

Building community is part of our mission.  We see community as a powerful influence in rewarding, empowered parenting; and in our eyes, buying local is a part community building.   Secondly, the retail part of the business subsidizes our Resource Center.  Income from our store goes directly back to the community in the form of free groups, activities and services for parents and families.

History

Happy Bambino was co-founded by two local moms, Lea Wolf and Alison Dodge... As parents, we were struck by the challenges involved in locating the resources and products that we needed and wanted -- this sparked the seeds of Happy Bambino.  Our mission is to provide community-building opportunities, beneficial products, and access to resources for pregnancy, birth and parenting.
