Badger Barter is Madison's Local Trade Exchange Company.  We are business to business trading.  Our goal is to generate new business and save on cash flow for the things that you need or want.  For example a Restaurant may need menus printed or Carpets cleaned. They can use a member in our network without paying in cash. The Printer and the Carpet cleaner can use those points towards something else like Dental work or advertising. 

Buying Local

I grew up in Madison and strongly believe that buying local is the way to keep our community strong. I love to see local business make it in there industry.  I would much rather shop at a local store and eat at a locally owned Restaurant. I know the owners take pride in their product.

History

History of your business? Badger Barter is owned by Mary Jo Mangan. She started Badger Barter Jan 2004.  Barter is huge all over the country, but we are lucky enough to be the only local exchange. Since the doors opened we have built our network to 250 active members.  We have been averaging 5-10 new businesses a month.
