The Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor's Club is the city's largest hotel, perfectly situated in the heart of downtown Madison just steps from the State Capitol, State Street, Monona Terrace Convention Center and University of Wisconsin. We offer meeting and banquet facilities for corporate meetings, conventions, weddings and other special events. We also encourage locals to be a tourist in their own city by escaping for a weekend getaway to the Governor's Club, offering complimentary top-shelf cocktails, hors d'ouevres and breakfast in the private lounge overlooking the State Capitol. Our hotel also offers a restaurant, live jazz in The Bar, indoor pool and fitness center.

History

The hotel opened in 1974 in downtown Madison with 273 guest rooms and 13,000 square feet of meeting space. Today, The Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor's Club serves the community as the city's largest hotel, offering 356 guest rooms including the exclusive Governor's Club executive level located on the top three floors of the hotel, 27,000 square feet of meeting space and banquet space for up to 1,000 people.
