Bluephies features "New American" cuisine with many of our food purchases coming directly from local farmers such as JenEhr, Fountain Prairie, Jordandal and New Century. We try to have as much fun with our food as possible, so we likely offer anything you can think of! Our food has a variety of influences, from comfort food to vegetarian. Our prices range from $7 to $17, and we are very family friendly. We have nightly specials as well as a full bar, lunch, dinner and a weekend brunch. When you enter our restaurant you are greeted by a bakery case full of our mouth-watering desserts. Come in and check us out!

Buying Local

Supporting local business and the local economy means many things. By shopping, eating and seeking other services at locally owned businesses, you can be assured that your money is not going to a huge corporation with no vested interest in our community. By owning a local business, you have access to a network of local people to hire, and you are therefore able to put money back into your own community. By working at a locally owned business you are able to buy local ingredients and use local products, providing support to local farmers, food providers, and others. We at Bluephies are proud to be a part of the buy local movement for these reasons.  

History

Bluephies is truly unique. We have only one location here on Monroe Street where we have been located since the day we opened 12 years ago. All the owners of Bluephies are from the Madison area, and because they all still live here, you can be sure they do have a vested interest in their community!
