Each year Dane Buy Local holds the fundraiser Eat Local, Give Local. The year, the event will be held Thursday, August 19, 2021, and is sponsored by Monona Bank.

Here is how the event runs: When diners come to your restaurant you agree to provide 10% of the total sales for the day back to Dane Buy Local. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Late Night, in-house dining, curbside pickup, or delivery.

Dane Buy Local will place over $10,000 in media advertising leading up to the event to generate lots of interest in the event and bring people to your restaurant. Each participating restaurant will receive 25 menu cards, 25 table tents, and 2 posters to place in your business.

The 600 Dane Buy Local businesses keep our neighborhoods VITAL & our economy STRONG. People in Dane County are looking for ways to support local. This is a great opportunity for them to do so. Dane Buy Local loves driving business to area restaurants, but we also need resources to continue our efforts. This event helps us continue our work in the community.

LOCAL BUSINESSES are able to recirculate money in the community over 3.5 times MORE than non-local companies.

This builds a STRONG LOCAL ECONOMY. We appreciate your support.
